When working on projects / tasks across organizations obtain a correct understanding of words / phrases / acronyms. Develop a dictionary of words used frequently and define those for all of the organizations at the beginning of the activity. Misinterpretation of these meanings can lead to a process change, or added barriers that are unnecessary when the true interpretation should be defined up front.
