A recent Environmental Management System Independent Assessment identified two areas of improvement in document control and records management. For a short period of time, monthly universal waste inspections were completed on a retired revision of the inspection form. Also, one of the monthly inspection records could not be located during the assessment.

When completing inspections forms, it is imperative to use the correct revision of the form. In addition, when generating records transmit the records to the respective Document Centers as soon as possible to avoid potential misplacement of the information.
