Workers were testing a Mobile Cam Unit. The unit has a trailer mounted 30 foot high retractable boom with the camera and antenna equipment mounted at the top. During the test, as the boom on Mobile Trailer was beginning to elevate, the manufacturer installed crimp-on cable terminal separated, unsecuring the cable and allowing the boom to settle back on the trailer. The cable terminal in use was a single crimp-on terminal which can allow for separation through constant use and movement of the cables during raising and lowering the boom. All other Mobile Cam trailers have multiple wire rope clip terminals in use.
