In support of a planned building energization, the required Authority Having Jurisdiction inspections were requested. As a result of the inspection, it was identified that unexpected work would be required to correct the findings. As this was unrealized work and the inspections performed to close to the energization date, the schedule for energization could not be maintained. Ultimately, the inspection scope was not well understood and inspections were not scheduled far enough in advance to allow deficiency correction without impacting schedule
