A custodian at the Advanced Test Reactor was cleaning dirt and debris from under a section of lockers in a break room when they cut the palm of their hand on a piece of broken glass. The piece of glass was clear, slightly green in color, and firmly wedged between the locker leg and the ground. The space between the floor and the bottom of the lockers was about 10 inches and the custodian was on their hands and knees performing work. They could not easily see or reach all of the areas under the lockers. The custodian reached blindly, which was a precipitating factor to the cut hand.
