While performing the annual battery rundown test on the 480 volt Uninterruptible Power Supply at the Advanced Test Reactor, an Automatic Voice Announcement System warning was initiated directing evacuation of non-essential personnel from the building due to water flow in a fire sprinkler system. The fire sprinkler system was actuated due to excessive heat being discharged from a SIMPLEX Dynamite 400kW portable load bank.
