At the Advanced Test Reactor a 2-Ton main floor crane was being used to remove the Test Train Assembly Station from the canal. The canal provides space for handing and storing used fuel element assemblies, experiments and reactor components under a shield of water. During the lift the train assembly became bound/caught on the test assembly storage rack, which was used to store the train assembly in the canal. An upward force was applied to the storage rack when the train assembly was being removed and caught an edge which caused three anchors in the top of the storage rack to pull out of the concrete.
