During preparation for demolition of a support building, Engineering identified that although air-gapping was previously believed to be complete, energized wires were still present with the building.

Lessons Learned: When preparation for a work activity is delayed, assumed conditions must be verified as accurate prior to resuming work. Involvement of subject matter experts to provide experience and lessons learned should be conducted early in the process to supplement planning.
