Over the past several years the Waste Treatment Plant (WTP) Project Construction site personnel have developed a number of enhancements to improve safety of aerial lift operations. As exemplified by reports of injuries and, in some cases, even fatalities from across the nation, the use of aerial lifts has some inherent hazards. Lesson Learned: Many of the improvements instituted at WTP, if adopted by other construction projects, could reduce the possibility for accidents when using aerial lifts.
