During a periodic test of a Radio Fire Alarm Reporter (RFAR), a compensatory fire surveillance was performed at a location not specified by the work package. Performing that surveillance improperly did not comply with the Technical Safety Requirement (TSR) Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) required action, which is a TSR violation.
